OneGum is a chewing gum containing caffeine and B3, B6 and B12 vitamins. It contains as much caffeine as a cup of coffee (50 mg), but it acts quicker because its active ingredients go stray into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes in the mouth (sublingual absorption). Thanks to its double layer patented technology, which separates these active ingredients from the chewing gum, the caffeine and the vitamins are absorbed more quickly. The caffeine thus starts to kick in after only five minutes, compared to 30 - 45 minutes when the same quantity of caffeine is absorbed via a coffee or an energy drink.
OneGum contains 50mg of caffeine, which is the equivalent of a cup of coffee.
We recommend avoiding consuming more than 8 OneGums per day, because the dose of caffeine that should not be exceeded is 400mg per day, or approximately 200mg for pregnant women. However, it is important to take into account the fact that caffeine can be present in other drinks and foodstuffs, and not just in coffee, so 8 OneGums a day would only apply to someone who had no caffeine intake whatsoever from other sources (coffee, cola, energy drinks or chocolate, for example).

There is as much caffeine in a OneGum as in a cup of coffee. The effects last approximately 3 - 4 hours from the moment the gum is taken. If you are sensitive to caffeine, or if a coffee in the evening stops you from sleeping, avoid taking OneGum in the evening.
Each OneGum contains as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, so we would never advise giving this product to young children. For older children, it is their parents' decision. In general, children don't like the very strong minty flavour and don't need any extra energy!
